Azerbaijani boxer Alfonso Dominguez reached the final of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
Idman.biz reports, Azerbaijani athlete, who reached the semi-final barrier in weight 92 kg, entered Azerbaijan boxing history as the second finalist of the Olympics.
Azerbaijan boxing team, which made its debut in Atlanta-1996, has been represented in only one final so far. In Rio-2016, Lorenzo Sotomayor successfully passed the semifinals. Azerbaijani boxer, who lost only in the final, returned from Brazil with silver.
