Kung Fu World Championship has started in Perugia, Italy.

11-year-old granddaughter of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev competed in light sanda. Azerbaijani athlete reached the final.
Azerbaijani delegation to the competition included Arzu Aliyeva, President of Azerbaijan Kung Fu Federation Nurlan Aslanov, federation officials, coaches and young athletes. Speaking at the opening of the competition, Aslanov emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev's support for sports is the basis of success.
