2024/2025 season in the AFFA U-13 League has concluded.
The third-place match and final match were held at Bayil Stadium, Idman.biz reports.
Ulduz team, which won 2:1 over Turan Tovuz in the match for the bronze medal, finished the competition in third place.
Then, Sabah and Neftchi teams faced off in the final match. Sabah defeated its opponent with a score of 4:3 and became the champion. Neftchi won silver medals.
After the matches, Ulduz was awarded bronze, Neftchi was awarded a silver medal, and Sabah was awarded a gold medal and a cup. Individual award winners were also determined. In the U-8 League, Fateh Aliyev from Goztepe Baku, Yusif Mustafali from Flagman in the U-9 League, and Akbar Nagiyev from Neftchi in the U-13 League were selected as the fair play award winners.
The awards were presented by Emin Jafarov, Head of AFFA’s Competitions Organization Department, and Ilgar Gurbanov, Director of the A National Team.
