Brazilian winger Neymar, currently playing for Santos, could be on his way to Turkiye to continue his career.
Idman.biz, citing Turkish outlet Fanatik, reports that Fenerbahce is interested in signing the 33-year-old star. The Istanbul club has reportedly offered Neymar a one-year contract with the option to extend for another season.
Neymar's current deal with Santos includes a clause allowing him to join any European club for free, which could facilitate a move.
English journalist Chris Anthony has reported that in addition to Fenerbahce, Premier League side Aston Villa and French club Marseille are also interested in the Brazilian. In fact, five more clubs are said to be in contact with Neymar’s representatives.
This season, Neymar has played 14 matches across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists. Previous reports also suggested that Santos was keen to extend his contract.
