The previous record was 6,513 fans, set during the Slovakia vs. Belgium opening match at the European Championship in Košice, Slovakia.
Adding to the excitement, Azerbaijan’s national team secured a 2-1 victory over England to reach the semi-finals.
The tournament continues to attract large crowds and growing global attention, with Baku firmly establishing itself as a standout host city.
