San Marino’s national football team has achieved historic milestones.

Competing in League D, San Marino secured an impressive 3-1 away victory against Liechtenstein, marking their first-ever win on foreign soil.
The underdogs also set another record by scoring three goals in a single match for the first time in their history. Previously, their best was two goals, achieved in a 2-2 draw with Liechtenstein in 2003 and a 3-2 loss to Malta nine years later.
With this victory, San Marino secured first place in their group and earned promotion to League C.
