According to Idman.biz, journalist Piers Morgan asked Ronaldo to comment on reports that he had recently become a billionaire. Cristiano playfully dismissed the idea.
Piers Morgan: “You became a billionaire last week, right?”
Cristiano Ronaldo: “No, that’s not true. I became a billionaire several years ago,” Ronaldo replied in a preview of an interview posted on his personal YouTube channel.
In October, Bloomberg published a report stating that Cristiano Ronaldo had become the first footballer to reach billionaire status, with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion.
