Spanish media have published the list of the highest-paid players at Real Madrid and Barcelona ahead of tomorrow’s El Clasico.
According to Idman.Biz, citing AS, the top earner is Real Madrid’s French forward Kylian Mbappe. The striker earns €31.25 million per year, making him the highest-paid player across both teams.
Mbappe’s teammate David Alaba follows with an annual salary of €22.5 million.
The third highest-paid player among the two rival clubs is Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who earns €20.83 million per year.
Real Madrid’s English midfielder Jude Bellingham and Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior also earn the same amount as Lewandowski.
Next on the list is Barcelona’s Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong, an Ajax academy graduate, earning €19 million annually.
The El Clasico match, part of the tenth round of La Liga, will take place on October 26, starting at 19:15 Baku time.
