An Austrian team of referees will officiate the Ukraine vs Azerbaijan match in Group D of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Idman.Biz, citing UEFA’s official website, reports that the match will be refereed by Sebastian Gishamer.
The assistant referees will be Roland Riedel and Santino Schreiner, while Walter Altmann will serve as the fourth official. The VAR system will be operated by Manuel Schuttengruber and Christian-Petro Tschirkow.
It should be noted that the Ukraine vs Azerbaijan match will take place on October 13 in Krakow, Poland.
After three rounds, the group standings are as follows: France – 9 points, Ukraine – 4, Iceland – 3, Azerbaijan – 1.
