Azerbaijani boxer Bilalhabashi Nazarov was awarded the title of European champion.
Idman.biz reports that the 48 kg athlete achieved this feat at the Continental Championship among young boxers held in Poreč, Croatia.
He fought Oleksandr Zvieriev (Ukraine) in the final. Nazarov, who finished all 3 rounds to his advantage, won the gold medal with a score of 5:0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27) and sang the Azerbaijani national anthem in Poreč.
It should be noted that in the evening session of the final round, Omar Aslanli (54 kg) will face Maksym Chekin (Ukraine).
