Azerbaijan national team played its first game in 2024.
Idman.biz reports that the national team of Azerbaijan faced Mongolia within the "FIFA series - Edition 2024" project.
The meeting was organized at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium. Team led by Arif Asadov entered the match with the representative of Asia as a favorite, but won a challenging victory. The national team, which could not break the opponent's resistance for a long time, scored in the 90th + 1st minute. Bahlul Mustafazade scored the last minute goal.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan national team will face Bulgaria on March 25.
