Braga, the opponent of Qarabag in the Europa League playoffs, has signed a contract with Joao Vasconcelos.

An agreement was reached with the 18-year-old football player, who is a student of the club, until the end of June 2028. Joao scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 10 games for Braga B this season, and 4 goals and 2 assists in 6 matches in the club's youth team. Vasconcelos played a major role in Portugal's U-19 team reaching the finals of the European Championship.
It should be noted that the first game between Qarabag and Braga will be on February 15, and the return match will be held in Baku a week later.
