Qarabag drop in global ranking at the end of 2025

Azerbaijani football club Qarabag have lost one position in the global club rankings.

As reported by Idman.Biz, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics has published its club ranking based on the results of 2025.

According to the updated data, the Aghdam-based Qarabag dropped one place and are now ranked 69th with 182.5 points. Neighbors of Gurban Gurbanov’s side in the standings are Slovenia’s Celje (182) and Denmark’s Copenhagen (183.25). It is worth recalling that earlier this season Qarabag defeated the Danish club 2:0 in Baku in the second round of the main stage of the Champions League.

As for the other Azerbaijani clubs represented in the ranking, Sabah, who claimed the symbolic title of “winter champions”, climbed 18 positions and now sit in 224th place with 93.5 points. Zira (66.75) dropped from 360th to 389th, Araz-Nakhchivan (60.25) moved up from 486th to 456th, Neftchi (51.25) are ranked 553rd, while Turan Tovuz (51) occupy 627th place.

Paris Saint-Germain lead the global club ranking with 613 points. The top ten also include Real Madrid (Spain, 471), Chelsea (England, 447), Inter (Italy, 447), Bayern (Germany, 440), Flamengo (Brazil, 424), Barcelona (Spain, 419), Arsenal (England, 407), Palmeiras (Brazil, 384) and Borussia Dortmund (Germany, 384).
