Gianni de Biasi, former Azerbaijan national team coach, awarded honorary doctorate.
According to Idman.biz, the Italian specialist has been honored at Universum International College.
At the event held in Kosovo, De Biasi received the title of doctor for his achievements in the international arena. His giving a chance to Kosovar football players in the Albanian national team was appreciated. Under the leadership of De Biasi, the team qualified for the finals of EURO-2016.
It should be noted that the Italian coach has been appointed head coach of the Azerbaijan national team since 2020. After the EURO 2024 qualifying round, his contract was not extended.
