But we proved ourselves. We became the strongest in Europe. I would not call this result a surprise. Because concrete preparations have been made on this road, we have been serious about our regimen and training. We are provided on every side. We only had to wrestle. We did it and justified ourselves. Coaches Khetag Gazyumov and Jabrayil Hasanov also played a big role."
Rzazade said that he considers obtaining a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games to be the highest result in his career: "Because the European and world championship are always there. But the Classification tournaments are held every 4 years. The dream of every athlete is to perform at the Olympics and become a champion. I got 1 step closer to it. I am already interested in the gold medal of the Olympic Games. I want to add this medal to my collection."
It should be noted that our freestyle wrestlers will be represented in Paris with a full team. Aliabbas Rzazade (57 kg), Haji Aliyev (65 kg), Turan Bayramov (74 kg), Osman Nurmagomodov (86 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) will represent Azerbaijan at the Olympic Games.
