The national wrestling championship has started in Azerbaijan, one of the most popular sports in the country, second only to football.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the daytime session of bouts will begin at 10:00, while the evening program is scheduled to start at 17:00. The tournament will conclude on January 11.
It is worth noting that the official opening ceremony of the championship will take place on January 8 at 17:00. All of Azerbaijan’s leading wrestlers are taking part in the national championship, and the medalists will be called up to the national team.
