The quarter-final match of the European women’s volleyball championship was held in Brussels (Belgium), and the Turkish team defeated the Polish national team in three sets (25:23, 25:22, 25:18).
In the semi-finals of the tournament, Turkish athletes will face the current European champions, Italians. Yesterday, the Italian team, which played in the ¼ finals, won in three sets against the French team (25:14, 29:27, 25:13).
In the second semi-final match, the Dutch national team will play against the strongest team of the Serbian-Czech Republic pair. Their meeting started at 22:00.
Both semi-finals will be held on September 1 at the Pale 12 arena in Brussels. The final and third place match will be held on September 3 in the capital of Belgium.
