The Open Turkish Taekwondo Championship will start on February 9 in Antalya.
As Idman.biz reports, the Azerbaijani national team will compete the fight of adults and teenagers in the 5-day competition.
Head coach of the men's team, Mammad Abdullayev, will give Javad Aghayev (74 kg) and Milad Beigi Harchegani (+87 kg) a chance to fight.
The head coach of the women's national team, Sun Mi Park, will face Minaya Akbarova, Maryam Mammadova, Zemfira Hasanzadeh, Samarrukh Osmanova (all 49 kg), Saida Aliyeva (57 kg) and Fatima Majidova (67 kg) in Turkiye.
The main team will leave on February 13-14.
Head coach of the youth team Rashad Mammadov and senior coach Vurgun Jafarov participated in the championship with Huseyn Abbasli (148 cm), Murad Janaliyev (152 cm), Ali Hasanzade, Said Feyzullayev (both 156 cm), Anar Abdullazade (160 cm), Rasif Hajiyev (164 cm), Novruz Aliyev, Amirabbas Fazlishahgoli (both 168 cm), Chingiz Hasanov (172 cm), Sarkhan Talibzade (176 cm), Zeynab Safaraliyeva (144 cm), Fatima Zeynalova, Rugayya Aliyeva (both 148 cm), Maryam Jafarova , will check Inci Muradova (both 152 cm), Laman Manafova, Fatima Ibishova (both 156 cm), Gulnar Rasulzade, Gulay Aliyeva (both 160 cm), Turkan Yuniszade (164 cm) and Gulnaz Abdullayeva (168 cm). This age group will compete on February 9-10.
ATF chief referee Gunduz Abdullayev, international referees Aygul Abdullayeva and Etibar Ibrahimov will arbitrate in the competition.
The team will be headed by ATF vice-president Niyamaddin Pashayev.
It should be noted that the youth team will leave for Antalya today, and the adults will leave on February 12. Both teams will return to Baku the day after their matches.
