Azerbaijan's national teams will play their round 10 matches at the 46th Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, today.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Azerbaijan's open team will face Bulgaria, while the women's team will take on Slovenia.
After nine rounds, Azerbaijan's open team has 13 match points and shares 11th-22nd places. Based on tiebreak criteria, the team is 12th in the standings.
Uzbekistan leads the open section with 16 points. India, Uzbekistan-2 and Armenia have 15 points each and share second to fourth places.
In the women's section, Azerbaijan is 14th with 13 points. China tops the standings with 17 points, while India, Kazakhstan and Mongolia have 15 points each.
The 46th Chess Olympiad is being played under the Swiss system over 11 rounds and will conclude on September 27.
