The athlete competing in the 58 kg weight class climbed to the top of the podium at the continental championship in the Olympic weight classes held in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
With this, the number of medals of our team in the continental championship for Olympic weight classes has increased to 3. Javad Aghayev (68 kg) and Hamidreza Badrialiabadi (+80 kg) won silver medals before Magomedov, who tested his strength in the competition with the support of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation.
Our team finished the European youth championship in Estonia with 2 medals. Salima Guliyeva (42 kg) won silver, Mohammad Hasanli (45 kg) won bronze.
Azerbaijani taekwondo players finished two European championships lasting 3 days with 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.
