"I am very happy that I can show myself in other tournaments in addition to Para athletics competitions."

This was told to Idman.biz by Lamiya Valiyeva, who won a bronze medal in the international athletics competition "Olympic champion Olga Rypakova award" held in Oskemen, Kazakhstan.

The athlete, who reached the finish line 3rd in the 60 m race, said that this is a great result for him: "My main goal is to qualify for the Paris-2024 Summer Paralympic Games. I don't know exactly which competitions I will participate in. But I do my best to ensure the license and fulfill the regulations. "I train for several hours every day to be fully ready for competitions."

The Paralympic champion emphasized that he plans to sing the Azerbaijani national anthem in the French capital: "I don't set limits on the future. I believe that I will get high results by preparing strongly as usual."

It should be noted that 22-year-old Valiyeva won gold in 400 m (T-13) and silver in 100 m at Tokyo-2020.
