The winners of the third "Victory Run" charity event organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Baku were awarded.
According to Idman.biz, the awards were presented to the winners by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Mariana Vasileva and member of the Board of the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, paralympian Elshan Guliyev.
According to the results of the race, Alexander Yatsenko (32.08) was the first to complete the 10 km distance. Togrul Mammadli (32.21) was the second, and Bakhtiyar Asgarli (32.26) was the third. Among women, Ulyana Batashova (35.39) finished first. Yuliya Belkova (41.30) and Milana Khalilova (42.29) took the second and third places, respectively.
The oldest participant of the run, Tarverdi Aliyev (84 years old), was awarded the fair play award.
It should be noted that the run held for 3 consecutive years under the slogan "Run forward proudly" and attended by 1,660 participants was organized in Denizkanari National Park.
Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, his deputy Mariana Vasileva and head of the ministry's sports department Elnur Mammadov also took part in the "Victory Run".
