He said that on November 4, the Rizin Fighting Federation's "Landmark 7" International Tournament will be held in Baku for the first time: "I should note that these fights will be held outside Japan for the first time. During the drawing ceremony organized on this occasion, the competitors of our athletes were also known."
Gayibov said that the activities aimed at supporting the healthy lifestyle of the population continue: "This time, the opening of the "Healthy neighborhood" took place in Khojasan settlement of Baku. This socially oriented project of ours will continue."
The minister also emphasized that the role of the media in promoting sports is increasing day by day. He noted that media training for sports journalists serving the development of this field has already become a tradition: "These days, we organized the next training for sports journalists at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex. The training was conducted by Colin Gibson, one of the most well-known and experienced media professionals in the world. Recently, we participated in the presentation ceremony of a new project - the "Idman ve biz" portal. I would like to thank Trend International Information Agency for creating this new site, focusing on the promotion of sports, and I wish you success. We also gave our advice and recommendations to the site during the preparation stage.
