Azerbaijani judokas Konul Aliyeva and Hidayat Heydarov have advanced to the final stage at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games.
According to Idman.Biz, Aliyeva defeated Kazakhstan’s Diana Burkeyeva by yuko (a point for technical superiority) in the semifinal to secure a place in the final. She will face Turkiye’s Tugce Beder in the decisive match.
Meanwhile, Hidayat Heydarov also triumphed in his semifinal against Abubakr Sherov of Tajikistan, earning a spot in the final.
