The open practice of the Azerbaijan national team in gymnastics before the World Cup held in Baku took place.
Idman.biz reports that Nikita Simonov (hoops), Ivan Tikhonov (pommel horse, pole vault, parallel arms, horizontal bar), Rasul Ahmadzada (pommel horse, parallel arms), Mansum Safarov (barbell, free movements), Murad Agharzayev (free movements) and Nazenin Teymurov (pole vault, gymnastic beam, free movements) participated in the preparatory competition held at the National Gymnastics Arena.
In addition to them, gymnasts from the countries that will participate in the World Cup also participated in the exercises.
A record number of athletes from 67 countries are expected to participate in the cup, which will be a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games.
At the end of the four-day competitions, the traditional "AGF Trophy" trophy will be presented to the gymnasts who have collected the highest performance score.
It should be noted that the competition will start on March 7.
