The young gymnast, competing in today’s qualification rounds, said her goal is first place: "We have prepared well for the tournament. Everything is perfectly organized. We want to take the first place that we deserve."
Another gymnast, Ayan Talibova, stated that she has been preparing for the European Championship for two years: "We will do our best to win a medal for Azerbaijan."
It should be noted that a total of 380 gymnasts from Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Moldova, Slovakia, Spain, Turkiye, Ukraine, and host Azerbaijan are competing for the championship. The competition, which began yesterday, will conclude on November 11.
