Several F1 Paddock members fall ill ahead of Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Several members of the Formula 1 paddock, including British Mercedes driver George Russell, have fallen ill ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Idman.biz, citing SoyMotor, reports that the exact virus has not yet been identified. It is suspected that the hotel housing most of the staff could be the epicenter of the infection.

The first practice session of the 17th round of the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on Friday, September 19, at 12:30 Baku time. The second free practice is scheduled for the same day at 16:00.
