This week marked the first round of the UEFA Champions League.
İdman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that UEFA announced four players competing for the Player of the Week award.
The nominees are Marcus Rashford (Barcelona), Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus), Marcus Thuram (Inter), and Francisco Trincao (Sporting).
Rashford played a key role in Barcelona’s 3-2 win over Newcastle, scoring twice. Vlahovic contributed two goals and one assist to help Juventus draw 4-4 with Borussia Dortmund. Thuram scored twice to secure Inter’s 2-0 victory over Ajax, while Trincao netted a brace in Sporting’s 4-1 win against Kairat.
