The Guba Olympic Sports Complex, where “Imishli” intends to host its home games in the 2025/2026 Azerbaijan Premier League season, will be inspected by the Professional Football League (PFL).
Idman.biz reports that the club’s executive director, Agshin Mursalov, told Report news agency that they currently have no alternative options: “We plan to play at the Guba Olympic Complex. However, the stadium has not yet been inspected by the Professional Football League. If it is deemed unsuitable, we have not decided what to do. We will play wherever the stadium meets the Premier League requirements.”
The club official also provided an update on the current condition of the Imishli stadium: “Renovation work has not started yet at the Imishli stadium. Many changes need to be made. The field and the areas for filming need to be properly arranged. The current stadium was built according to previous standards. I cannot say when the renovation will begin. This is not something under our control. We also want to return to our stadium as soon as possible. It’s difficult to say anything at this point.”
Turan Tovuz will host its home games at “Azersun Arena,” “Kapaz” at the Gabala City Stadium, and “Karvan” at the stadium in Shamakhi.
