Spanish giants Real Madrid have joined forces with Apple on an ambitious new project that could reshape how fans experience football.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the initiative, named “Infinity Bernabeu”, is designed to revolutionise football content consumption through the use of augmented and virtual reality technologies.
A key element of the project is immersive broadcasting — a format that allows viewers not just to watch matches, but to feel as though they are inside the action. Apple plans to leverage its ecosystem, including the Apple Vision Pro, to deliver a fully interactive matchday experience.
With this technology, fans could watch games as if they were sitting inside the Santiago Bernabeu stadium or even viewing the action directly from pitch level. The project also includes ultra-high-definition production, with plans to use advanced cameras from Blackmagic Design capable of capturing footage in 8K 3D at 90 frames per second, significantly enhancing visual detail.
Beyond broadcasting, “Infinity Bernabeu” is expected to increase stadium interactivity. The renovated arena could become one of the most technologically advanced sports venues in the world through deep integration with Apple services.
The global rollout of the project is expected to begin in 2026, marking a potentially transformative moment in the intersection of sport, media and technology.
