Israeli football club Hapoel Be'er Sheva will travel to Baku in advance of their Champions League playoff second leg against Sabah.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing Israeli outlet ONE, the team will depart for the Azerbaijani capital on Saturday, August 22. The flight is scheduled for 23:00 Baku time.
The Hapoel delegation will therefore arrive in Baku during the night of August 23, giving the team around two days to prepare for the decisive match.
The Israeli club is also working to arrange travel to Azerbaijan for its supporters. According to information published on Hapoel's official Telegram channel, a separate direct charter flight to Baku operated by Israir is being planned for fans.
The flight will depend on demand and will be chartered if at least 180 supporters register. The fare is $750 per person and does not include hotel accommodation or a match ticket.
Hapoel had previously offered supporters a club travel package that includes a flight to Baku together with the team, accommodation and a ticket for the match.
The second leg between Sabah and Hapoel Be'er Sheva will take place in Baku on August 25. The Israeli side won the first meeting 2-1.
