Luis Suárez is set to return to the Uruguay national team two years after announcing his international retirement, reports İdman.Biz.
According to ESPN, citing sources within the Uruguayan Football Association (UFA), the 39-year-old Inter Miami forward agreed to resume his international career following an important meeting with the team's new head coach, Diego Forlán.
Suárez and Forlán, who were once teammates in Uruguay's attack, have remained close friends. This relationship is reportedly believed to have played a key role in Suárez's decision to make his return to the national team.
