FIFA is against blue cards.
Idman.biz reports that the president of the organization, Gianni Infantino, said this at the meeting of the International Football Associations Council (IFAB) held in Glasgow.
The functionary does not agree with the application of the blue card: "We are always open to consider ideas and suggestions, but after analysis, you understand that traditions should be respected. Blue cards will not be used in professional football. This is a non-existent problem for us. There will be no blue card!".
It should be noted that the proposal was made to suspend the player who received the blue card penalty for 10 minutes from the match. It was suggested that it be shown to football players who are more tactical violations and protesting the referee.
