Liverpool are close to completing the signing of 17-year-old central defender Ifeanyi-Arthur Ndukwe, who currently plays for Austria Vienna.
According to İdman.Biz, citing insider information, the English club are set to pay several million euros for the Austrian youth international. Standing at 1.98 metres tall, Ndukwe is regarded by specialists as one of the most promising young defenders in the country.
It is noted that Ndukwe’s mother is from Russia, while his father has Nigerian roots. Despite his young age, the defender has already attracted interest from a number of European clubs, but Liverpool have proven the most persistent in negotiations.
