The Azerbaijan national football team will play its next match in the 2026 World Cup qualifying stage today.
As Idman.Biz reports, the team led by head coach Aykhan Abbasov will host Iceland in Baku.
The match at the 8th km Settlement Stadium will kick off at 21:00. The game will be officiated by Montenegrin FIFA referee Nikola Dabanovic.
In the other match of the group, France will host Ukraine, with kickoff set for 23:45.
After four games, France leads Group D with 10 points. Ukraine has 7 points, Iceland 4, and Azerbaijan 1.
