The World Blitz Chess Championship among girls and boys under 20 years old, held on the Italian island of Sardinia, has ended.
According to İdman.biz, Azerbaijani chess player Mahammad Muradli won the title of World Champion.
Azerbaijani player scored 9.5 points from 11 games and was awarded the gold medal. Govhar Beydullayeva won a bronze medal in the women's chess competition. Govhar, who scored 7.5 points, is 1 point behind the leader.
It should be noted that two days ago, Azerbaijani chess player Govhar Beydullayeva became the World Rapid Chess Champion.
