The Great Silk Way international tournament between male and female boxers continues in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that on the third day of the competition in which 121 athletes from 11 countries participated, 5 more members of the Azerbaijan national team won the stage.
In 67 kg, Ilgar Salahov fought with Pakistani Muhammad Osama in the quarter finals. He won the second round by a landslide and advanced to the semi-finals, securing at least a bronze medal for himself. Salahov will face Mehdi Amirizafar (Iran) on the way to the final.
Azerbaijan had a duel in 2 fights in 75 kg weight. It should be noted that the fights of the fourth day of the competition held at the Boxing Center will start at 14:00. The finals of the tournament will be held on March 28.
