The Italian expert said after the last match of the group D in the FIBA European Cup that the Azerbaijani team has played very well and challenged them. Then he added:” Our defense was weak as usual. Probably, a lot of away matches and irregular trainings have impact on that. The opponent played defensively today. We had chances to get points from 3 points distances, however we couldn’t take that chances and it affected the team mentally. We did a better job in the second half and it helped to strengthen the offences. I am happy to qualify the next stage of the competition.”
It should be noted that “Sabah” was 3rd with 7 points. “Bahcesehir College” is the group leader, “Nymburk” is second and both have 11 points. “Mornar” took the last place with 7 points.
