A cooperation agreement was signed between the "Qarabag" Football Club and the European Football Academy (EFA).
Idman.biz informs that the signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by the general director of "Qarabag" Emrah Celikel, the founder-director of EFA Vusal Mustafayev, the director of administrative affairs of "Qarabag" Football Academy Murat Karaman, the general manager of EFA Kamran Bayramov.
Emrah Celikel, general director of "Qarabag", spoke about the prospects of cooperation: "It is a very good thing that there is such an academy in Azerbaijan that pays attention to children's football and develops in this direction. We got to know the work principles and approach to football of the academy in question and signed a promising contract. EFA's willingness to cooperate with us shows the value given to "Qarabag". I believe that the agreement with "Qarabag" will give additional stimulus to the activity of EFA and will play a positive role in attracting new football players to the academy and their development. This is a chance and an advantage for Azerbaijani football and "Qarabag" in the sense of training new young players."
Vusal Mustafayev, founder-director of EFA, expressed his opinion about the contract: We are very happy to have signed a contract with such a big club as "Qarabag". "Qarabag" is a team that has deservedly spoken and made a distinguished name for itself not only in Azerbaijan, but also in European arenas. Signing a contract with "Qarabag" is very important and very proud for us. Thanks to this cooperation, our local football players will get a chance to play in big arenas, and the selection of "Qarabag" will grow and the competition among young people will increase."
It should be noted that EFA, aiming to develop children's football in the country and train high-level football players, was established in 2017. About 300 teenagers learn the secrets of football in the teams of 9-17-year-old football players at the academy. The mentioned teams compete in tournaments organized by AFFA for lower age groups. At present, several of EFA's students are playing in various European clubs. Students of the academy are also involved in the national teams of Azerbaijan in lower age groups. According to the contract, "Qarabag" Football Club has the right to add outstanding and promising footballers to their teams within the EFA.
