The former head coach of the Russian national team, Stanislav Cherchesov, evaluated Andrey Lunev's performance at Qarabag.
Idman.biz reports that he considered it the right step to choose the Azerbaijan Championship.
Cherchesov said that his compatriot plays in a good club: "Lunev took the right step by going to Qarabag. He plays in a good team that performs consistently in European cups."
It should be noted that Lunev signed a contract with Qarabag last summer. The agreement between the parties will expire at the end of June 2024.
