Rustam Orujov had the Armenian's hide: "Azerbaijan has declared that it wants the reintegration of Qarabag Armenians."

The International Athletes' Forum (IAF) of the 11th International Olympic Committee is being held in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Idman.biz informs that at the event attended by the chairman of the Azerbaijan Athletes' Commission, the silver medalist of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games, the European champion judoka Rustam Orujov, the members of the commission representing all countries came together to discuss the most important issues.

Rustam Orujov said that a number of interesting issues were discussed on the first day of the forum. Also, the issue of the status under which Russian and Belarusian athletes will perform in the competitions was also considered.

On the first day of the forum, the Armenian athlete made a provocative speech. Arsen Julfalakyan, who appeared on stage at one of the sessions, said that his country, which is in a state of war, currently has 125 thousand refugees.

Rustam Orujov, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Athletes' Commission, who participated in the forum, immediately silenced the Armenian athlete: "Armenians started the war 30 years ago and our lands were occupied. We are not eyeing anyone's land. If you currently have refugees, this is not a problem, they can stay and live in Qarabag. Today, thanks to the humanitarianism of Azerbaijan, conditions are created for the free passage of people of Armenian origin who left Qarabag and went to Armenia through the Lachin border crossing point. No violence is done to them. Azerbaijan has declared that it wants the reintegration of Qarabag Armenians and provides food and medical aid to the Armenian residents of Karabakh. But in the 1990s, Armenian separatists committed great atrocities against our people. Unarmed Azerbaijani people were tortured, killed and subjected to genocide with special ruthlessness. They became forced refugees in their homeland."

After Rustam Orujov's solid answers, the Armenian immediately calmed down and corrected his thoughts. In fact, he noted that sports should not be included in politics and that the fight should be fought on the tatami: "I want to say that all countries in a state of war should participate in Olympic Solidarity events. War cannot be mixed to sports. Athletes must show their strength in the sports arena."

The International Athletes Forum will be concluded today.
