Neom head coach Christophe Galtier was sent off during his team's Saudi Pro League match against Al-Fateh in the seventh round of the championship.
As reported by İdman.biz, the former Paris Saint-Germain coach made an obscene gesture toward the opposition bench, showing his middle finger.
The incident occurred near the end of the first half with the score tied at 1-1. The 60-year-old Frenchman was shown a red card and is now likely to face a suspension.
According to RMC Sport, Galtier apologised for his behaviour after the match.
Despite his absence from the touchline in the second half, Neom went on to secure a 4-2 victory.
