Azerbaijani athletes have finished their performances at the Balkan Winter Championship held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
According to Idman.biz, the national team did not win a medal in the competition organized among athletes under 20 years of age.
Ilaha Guliyeva showed the best result among the athletes who performed under the guidance of coach Valentin Bulichev. She reached the finish line in 400 m in 57.74 seconds and was 8th. Huseyin Abbasov took 9th (6.76 m), Mehri Nadirova 10th (4.65 m, both long jump), and Murad Babazade (60 m, running, 7.26 seconds) took 16th place.
It should be noted that more than 200 athletes from 16 countries competed in the championship.
