The player has been experiencing discomfort since early December and had previously halted training completely following medical examinations that revealed a strain. The club stress that his trip to Jeddah is not a formality and is intended specifically for participation in the final. At the same time, Mbappe plans to rely on his own feelings and avoid taking excessive risks.
