Table tennis European Youth Series 2024 has ended.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team finished the international competition held in Turkiye with 10 medals.
In the last days of the tournament, one of our athletes, Yagmur Mammadli, won a gold medal in the personal competition of athletes under 13 years of age, and a bronze medal in the competition of athletes under 15 years of age.
Onur Guluzade took the 3rd place in the personal competition of both age groups.
He and Shakir Gadirov took the 2nd place in the doubles competition of under-13 athletes, and Yagmur Mammadli and Banu Baytalli took the 3rd place.
Tunar Baghirov and Ugur Nazarli, Khadija Eylazova, and Shabnam Mansurova climbed to the third place of honor in the under-15 table tennis doubles competition.
Thus, the Azerbaijani team finished the European Youth Series 2024 competition with 1 gold, 2 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
It should be noted that earlier our U-13 team took the 2nd place, and our U-15 team took the 3rd place.
