Japan’s judo team has retained its lead at the World Championships currently underway in Budapest, Hungary.
After the third day of competition, the sport’s founding nation has secured a total of 7 medals: 3 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze, Idman.biz reports.
France follows in second place with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze, while Italy holds third place with 1 gold medal.
In total, athletes from 14 countries have won medals so far.
The Azerbaijani team has yet to make it onto the medal table.
