“The opponent is strong, but we’ll try to put up a decent fight,” said Bahlul Mustafazada, a player of the Azerbaijan national team, during a press conference ahead of their upcoming friendly against Hungary.
Idman.biz reports that Mustafazada noted that the 0:0 draw with Latvia won’t have much psychological impact on the team:
“We are obliged to be ready. Since the match will be held in Baku, the chances are 50/50. We’ll do our best to follow coach Fernando Santos’ instructions. I believe that a good result is possible through a solid performance. I hope we can win with a good game.”
The Azerbaijan vs. Hungary match will take place tomorrow at 20:00 at the Liv Bona Dea Arena.
