The future of Galatasaray’s Nigerian star Viktor Osimhen at the club is now uncertain.
Idman.biz, citing Turkish media, reports that the 26-year-old forward has expressed his desire to sign a 5-year contract with the yellow-reds.
Osimhen reportedly expects an annual salary of €20 million over that period. Additionally, Galatasaray would need to pay €75 million to Napoli, his parent club. Due to these financial demands, it remains unclear how the Istanbul side will respond to Osimhen’s proposal.
Notably, Viktor Osimhen has been playing for Galatasaray since September of last year. In that time, he has appeared in 41 matches, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists. He has helped the team secure victories in both the Turkish league and cup. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €70 million.
