Azerbaijan-Sweden match referee made an unexpected decision
Swiss female judge Esther Staubli has finished her career.
Idman.biz reports that the representative of justice made this unexpected decision at the age of 44.
The referee did not explain the reasons for taking such a step. She intends to try new fields.
The referee, who participated in two Olympics, three world and three European championships, has also been assigned to matches of men's teams in recent years. Staubli also whistled in the Azerbaijan-Sweden match of the EURO-2024 qualifying round in Baku.
It should be noted that our national team won 3:0 in the match managed by Staubli.
