Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has shared his thoughts on the club’s squad policy and possible transfers, Idman.Biz reports.
“I completely agree with the club’s strategy not to keep too large a squad. We have around 19–20 outfield players, and with that number, it’s crucial that everyone stays in good shape, especially with the tight match schedule. This has turned out to be more difficult for us than last season,” Slot said at the press conference ahead of the Premier League match against Manchester City.
After 10 rounds, Liverpool sit third in the table with 18 points. Manchester City are second with 19 points, while London’s Arsenal lead the standings with 25.
